MOSCOW, October 5 A gala concert for Teacher's Day was held on Thursday at the State Kremlin Palace, awards were given to the winners of professional competitions, the correspondent reports.
At the entrance to the Kremlin Palace, an hour before the start of the concert, a long line lined up.
People's Artist Lev Leshchenko spoke to the audience and awarded the winner of the professional competition «First Teacher». Elena Vaenga, Alexander Oleshko, the group Dabro, Stas Piekha, singer Valeria, Alexey Vorobyov, Sergei Trofimov, Tatyana Bulanova, Diana Gurtskaya also performed at the concert.
The event was attended by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the all-Russian public organization «League of National Health» Leo Bokeria, he awarded the winner of the competition «I Give My Heart to Children».
The winner of the “Teacher of the Year 2023” competition was awarded by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova and Rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy.
“The teaching family of our country is growing, growing with young teachers, because young people have been stubbornly choosing the teaching profession for several years now,” Golikova said during the award ceremony.
The head of the Russian Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, sang the song “Where the Motherland Begins” on stage with a girl from Lugansk.
At the concert, the winners of professional pedagogical competitions were awarded: “Teacher of the Year of Russia” was awarded the “Big Crystal Pelican”, “Director of the Year of Russia” was awarded the “Crystal Crystal”, and “Teacher of the Year” received the “Crystal Pearl”.
Prizes were also awarded to the winners of the competitions “Teacher-Psychologist of Russia”, “Teacher-Special Pathologist of Russia”, “Master of the Year”, “I Give My Heart to Children”.
