An unknown man in a car rammed the building of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco. This was reported by the Associated Press, citing local police.
According to the agency, a Honda sedan flew into the lobby of the visa department of the consulate. The driver almost ran over the people inside.
The police tried to stop the man, but it all ended in a shootout. According to police, despite all “life-saving efforts,” the suspect died in hospital from his wound.
The causes of the incident are being determined. There have been no reports of casualties yet.
