SIMFEROPOL, October 10 The Crimean Bridge on Tuesday is closed until 17.00 for restoration work, the Telegram channel reports on the operational situation at the transport crossing.
«Vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge is suspended until 17:00 for restoration work,» the message says.
The planned traffic closure was announced the day before; drivers were asked to plan their trips in advance and follow the incoming information.
On the night of July 17, Kyiv authorities attacked the Crimean Bridge with two surface drones. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article “terrorist act”. The explosion damaged the road part of the bridge, a girl was injured, and her parents were killed. After this, the movement of vehicles on the Crimean Bridge began to be carried out in reverse mode only in the rightmost lane. On September 14, after repair work, traffic was restored on the left side of the bridge; the bridge is planned to be completely restored by November 1.
