BELGOROD, October 10 Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military fired about 10 shells into the Belgorod region, the intensity of shelling in the region remains low for the fourth day in a row , follows from the data of Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, presented in the telegram channel.
On Tuesday, the governor released a summary of the shootings that occurred in the region on October 9. On Monday, Ukraine fired 9 projectiles at three border municipalities, including two devices dropped from a quadcopter. In addition, there was an aircraft-type drone located near Belgorod. According to the head of the region, it can be seen that since October 6 there has been a decrease in the intensity of shelling. Thus, on Sunday 14 shells were fired, and 9 “arrivals” is the smallest figure since mid-August.
«In the Borisovsky district, in the village of Dubino, two explosive devices were dropped from a quadcopter. There were no casualties. In two private households, windows were broken, a fence was cut. In the Valuysky urban district, the village of Novopetrovka was fired from cannon artillery — three arrivals were established. There were no consequences. In the Shebekinsky urban district “4 mortar shells were fired at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka,” Gladkov wrote.
He added that also in the Yakovlevsky district, near the village of Olkhovka, a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone was shot down by an air defense system.
Since April 11, 2022, a high (yellow) level of terrorist danger has been established throughout the Belgorod region. The need to introduce a regime is caused by the aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and the increased activity of the Ukrainian military in the border areas. The length of the Ukrainian border with the Belgorod region is 350 kilometers.
