Photo: duma.gov.ru < p>At the very end of the meeting, State Duma deputies, without discussion, supported the protocol instruction prepared by deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, United Russia, SR and the Liberal Democratic Party. The text of the document states that “according to a number of media reports,” the state corporation Rusnano notified investors that by the end of 2023 it would not have enough funds to fulfill its debt obligations in full. “Due to a number of failed and possibly corrupt projects, the budget system of the Russian Federation suffered damage in the amount of more than 100 billion rubles,” “at the same time, the former head of the corporation freely left the country.”
The former head is , in case anyone has forgotten, Anatoly Chubais. The deputies asked the Duma committees on economic policy and on security and anti-corruption to request from the government all financial information about the work of Rusnano for the entire period of its existence “for subsequent appeal to the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, law enforcement agencies and the preparation of a parliamentary request.” It is intended to “familiarize the State Duma deputies with the information received from the government.”
Rusnano was created in 2011.
