MOSCOW, October 10 Skolkovo resident companies (VEB.RF Group) presented their developments in the field of intelligent control, optoelectronics and photonics as part of the Microelectronics-2023 forum, the Foundation’s press service reports.
The developers presented a spectroradiometer for growing plants in closed soil conditions, picosecond fiber lasers, a neuromorphic processor, silicon photodetectors, an avalanche detector of single photons and other technologies. All of them receive material and expert support from Skolkovo, the statement says.
“The developments presented at the forum have the potential to ensure not only the replacement of imported analogues, but also the qualitative growth of the Russian microelectronics market. Some of them use the next generation of technologies that will spread throughout the world in the future. We are doing everything possible to ensure that the most promising projects receive support at at the earliest stage,” the press service quotes the words of Alexey Belyakov, vice-president, executive director of the cluster of advanced production technologies of the Skolkovo Foundation.
During the forum, the Skolkovo stand was visited by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to him, budget investments in the development of Russian microelectronics in 2024 will exceed 210 billion rubles.
“»The state has increased the level of funding multiple times. Back in 2020, budget investments did not exceed 10 billion rubles. This year they have already amounted to 147 billion, and next year they will exceed 210 billion rubles. This allows us to simultaneously build a full-fledged industry management system and provide its full support,” Manturov noted.
The Microelectronics 2023 Forum is taking place from October 9 to 14 on the Sirius federal territory. The organizers of the forum are JSC «Research Institute of Molecular Electronics» and JSC «Research Institute of Microelectronic Equipment «Progress» with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
