
RYAZAN, October 10 For the first time, the Ryazan region became one of the regions with a high level of debt sustainability, which allows “to look confidently into the future,” said Governor Pavel Malkov . His words are quoted by the press service.
At a meeting of the regional government on Tuesday, a discussion took place of the main directions of the budget and tax policy of the Ryazan region for 2024 and the planning period of 2025 and 2026.
According to the regional Finance Minister Marina Naumova, tax policy in the region is aimed at strengthening the economy under sanctions, optimizing the burden on business, creating favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, and improving the investment climate in the region. Measures have been taken to increase the stability and balance of the budget system, the efficiency of use of funds, and the fulfillment of the objectives of national projects. The region is actively using the tools of the infrastructure menu proposed by the Russian government. According to the results of monitoring by the Russian Ministry of Finance, the Ryazan region is included in the group with a high level of regional financial management.

The head of the region set the task of mandatory implementation of regional development plans. “There are sources of increasing the tax base and internal efficiency. We are very actively interacting with investors, a large number of enterprises are being launched. There is a lot of work ahead in all areas,” said Pavel Malkov.
He, in particular, noted the preservation of all measures to support the region’s agricultural sector. “Our agro-industrial complex is on the rise, and this dynamics continues. We will continue to work on all priorities. Agriculture is a strategic direction for the development of the region,” the governor emphasized.
