MOSCOW, Oct. 6 Russian dubbing director Vyacheslav Maksakov died at the age of 77, the press service of the Russian Film Directors Guild reported.
Vyacheslav Maksakov was born on September 27, 1947 in Moscow. In 1973 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK. Since 1974, he worked on the staff of the Mosfilm film studio and taught courses for second directors of the Mosfilm film concern.
Maksakov voiced the films “Dogma”, “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, “Gran Torino”, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, “Eurotrip”, “Freddy vs. Jason”, “Van Helsing”, “Juno” «, «The Pianist», «The Professional», «Scent of a Woman», «The Hangover», the cartoon «The Polar Express» and many others.
