MOSCOW, October 11 Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Roman Kopylov is ready to replace Brazilian Paulo Costa in a fight with UAE representative Khamzat Chimaev at the 294th tournament of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The evening of fighting will take place on October 21 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Earlier it was reported that Costa could withdraw from the co-main match of the tournament against Chimaev due to surgery on his hand.
““I’m ready to replace Kostya and fight with Chimaev,” said Kopylov, who is on a streak of four knockout victories, in an Instagram story (the activities of Meta (the social networks Facebook and Instagram) are banned in Russia as extremist).
