The President noted that previously Russia had completely abandoned currency regulation, but in modern conditions “our economic operators prefer to leave a significant part of foreign currency earnings abroad.” “That’s the whole point,” he emphasized.
“The volume of imports has increased, and the desire to leave proceeds abroad has increased. Of course, all this is connected with the economy, but not with the fundamental parameters of the Russian economy today.
