MOSCOW, 20 Oct. The concert of the leader of the group «Night Snipers» Diana Arbenina at the Crystal Ice Sports Palace in Saratov has been cancelled, the regional Ministry of Sports informed on its page on VKontakte.
«»We inform you that the concert of the singer Diana Arbenina , planned at the Kristall LDS on October 26, will not take place,” the department said without specifying the reasons for the cancellation.
This year, the musicians of “Night Snipers” are celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary with numerous tours of Russian cities.
At the end of September the group performed in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. Concerts are still planned in October in Ufa, Novosibirsk, Surgut and Penza.
Arbenina’s earlier performance was canceled by the authorities of the Republic of Mari El in Yoshkar-Ola, citing the singer’s unpatriotic position regarding the Northern Military District and Crimea. The star called it sabotage.
Arbenina’s PR director Maxim Zadvornov was outraged by the situation and emphasized that the singer is not on any lists, her performances in Russia are not prohibited, and the performer is not included in the list of foreign agents.
Later, the rock singer posted on her telegram — the channel calls to stop speculation about the cancellation of concerts.
“»Good everyone! I suggest you stop the pseudo-political couch ping-pong. I’m tired. I won’t comment on any post on the topic of concerts. They will be there as long as I want to sing,” the singer snapped.
Earlier in the summer, several Night Snipers shows did not take place in Russian cities. According to media reports, one of the reasons for the cancellation of the concerts was Diana Arbenina’s position regarding Crimea and the Northern Military District; several more performances were postponed due to the singer’s health problems.
