VELIKY NOVGOROD, October 20. Two lynxes were hit and killed by a car in the Novgorod region near the road sign “Beware of wild animals,” reports the press service of the region’s hunting and fishing committee.
As residents reported in a group on the social network “VKontakte,” the day before on the side of the road The bodies of two dead lynxes were found on the road. As experts clarified on Friday, these are two females aged four and one and a half years.
«»Lynxes died from a collision with a car, as they have typical for an accident, injuries: fractures of the limbs and skull, injuries to internal organs, severe internal bleeding. The accident happened in the area of the road sign “Beware of wild animals,” the message says.
It is noted that the car has not been identified — it fled the scene of the accident, but the investigation has begun.
