MOSCOW, October 18 Writer Dmitry Glukhovsky* faces a new fine of up to 50 thousand rubles for violating the law on the activities of foreign agents, the Ostankino court of Moscow reported, where an administrative violation report was received.

“A protocol on an administrative offense has been received against D.A. Glukhovsky*, the date of the meeting has not been set,” said the agency’s interlocutor.


According to Part 2 of Article 19.34, Glukhovsky* is charged with failure to submit reports as a foreign agent to the authorized body.

In addition, earlier the Ostankino court registered another administrative protocol against Glukhovsky* due to the absence of a foreign agent label in publications on social networks. The fine under this article can also reach 50 thousand. Its consideration has not yet taken place.
In June, the court already fined the writer 40 thousand rubles for violating the procedures for the activities of a foreign agent.
He was added to the register of foreign media media in October 2022.
In addition, in August of this year, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced the author of the novel “Metro 2033” in absentia to eight years in a general regime colony on charges of disseminating false information about the Russian Armed Forces. The writer was also banned from administering Internet sites for a period of four years.

According to investigators, Glukhovsky* posted videos on his social networks in which the Russian Armed Forces allegedly deliberately fired at residential buildings, schools and hospitals, massacred civilians and committed violent acts against minor Ukrainian schoolgirls.
