A Moscow court arrested suspects of painting a pentagram with a pig's head on the door of the Izvestia military correspondent.

The Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow arrested Vladislav Remnev and Svetlana Agibalova, suspected of drawing a pentagram with a pig’s head on the front door of the apartment of Izvestia military correspondent Valentin Trushnin. This was reported by the press service of the capital's courts.

Remnev and Agibalova are charged with threat of murder (Part 2 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code), vandalism (Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code) and obstruction of journalistic activity (Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code).

The detention of young people became known on Wednesday, October 18. A REN-TV source claimed that “they were completing a task received through a chatbot. For each of them they were paid 5 thousand rubles.” Izvestia published a video of Remnev, who said that he and Agibalova completed “five orders at five different addresses.” He added that such drawings could have been made for Halloween.

Izvestia wrote that there were also burning candles at the entrance to Trushin’s apartment. According to the publication, shortly before the graffiti appeared, the military correspondent’s phone received messages with threats and insults “from Ukrainian numbers.”
