MOSCOW, Oct. 23The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation proposes to create isolated infrastructure segments on the Gostekh platform that will ensure the protection of secret information with the exception of state secrets, which will allow Gostekh to create technical solutions based on secret information, follows from the draft decree published by the ministry on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts .
“The draft Decree proposes to amend subparagraph “h” of paragraph 2 of the Decree and supplement paragraph 2 of the Decree with subparagraph “z1”, which will ensure the creation, development and operation of state information systems and (or) their components (subsystems) within separate physically isolated infrastructure segments “Gostekh” platforms, which provide the level of information protection provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation in order to protect secrets protected by law, with the exception of state secrets,” says the explanatory note to the project.
The project also involves the use of separate programs and information technologies in order to create, develop and use isolated segments of Gostekh or data centers of government agencies, “in which the level of information protection provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation is ensured in order to protect secrets protected by law, with the exception of state secrets «.
“The proposed changes will ensure the use of certain information technologies and software and hardware of the Gostekh platform for the purpose of creating and testing certain technical solutions in the field of defense, investigation, and judicial proceedings based on decisions of the heads of the relevant government bodies,” the explanatory note clarifies.
«At the same time, the creation, development and operation of state information systems using the Gostekh platform is not carried out in cases where they contain information constituting a state secret,” it says there.
According to the current version of the law, Gostekh cannot work with secret information.
