WARSAW, Oct. 25 Poland will hold military exercises near the border with Belarus and Russia, reports the General Command of the Armed Forces.
«At the turn of October-November, tactical exercises of troops called «ZUBR-23″ will be held,» the report says.
The military warned that in connection with the exercises there will be an increased movement of troops and military equipment on roads , in cities and forests in the territories of Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, Lublin and Warmia-Masuria voivodeships.
The exercises will begin on Thursday, their active phase will last until Sunday.
«The maneuvers are designed not only to increase the level of security along the eastern border of Poland, but also to prepare troops for operations in extreme conditions,» the military noted.
The General Command requests that information and photographs illustrating the movement of troops not be published on social networks.
