MOSCOW, October 26. Singer Irina Ponarovskaya, at the age of 70, received the “Style Icon” prize at the Fashion People Awards ceremony, reports .
The star appeared on the red carpet in an ultra-stylish black trouser suit and sang several of her hits for the audience.

In a conversation with reporters, the performer of the song “Rowan Beads” frankly said that she could not even imagine such an award for herself.
“
"Could I, a cross-eyed girl with glasses who weighed 78 kilograms, imagine that one day I would be recognized as the most stylish. But I'm a hard worker. I really wanted to achieve what I have. And I achieved this,” the celebrity shared.
She said that, despite her age, she continues to actively work and be creative.
““I record songs, perform at various events,” the star shared.
Ponarovskaya said that she lives near St. Petersburg, loves to walk dogs and is reluctant to attend social events.
The artist considers a healthy lifestyle and a proper daily routine to be the secret of youth.

"I woke up, drank a cup of coffee, fed the dogs, then I dress nicely — I always take care of myself — and go for a walk. After your walk, you can allow yourself to eat a little something. But something healthy and correct,” the star shared with journalists.
The Fashion People Awards 2023 took place in the Izvestia Banquet Hall in Moscow. This year the event was held for the 13th time.
