The FSB reported on the detention of a resident of the Belgorod region who planned to leave to fight on the side of Ukraine. TASS and RIA Novosti write about this with reference to the press service of the regional department of the department.
A criminal case was opened against a resident of the Rakityansky district of the Belgorod region, born in 1995, on charges of preparation for treason and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (articles 275 and 205.5 of the Criminal Code using Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code).
According to the investigation, the man wanted to go to Ukraine and then join a “prohibited armed formation” and fight against the Russian army. He was detained while crossing the border.
As the FSB press service reported, shortly before attempting to cross the border, a resident of the Belgorod region tried to contact the “curators” and filled out a form to join a “prohibited armed formation.”
