MOSCOW, 26 Oct. The United States could theoretically start a third world war by striking Iran, former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said in an interview with the London Real portal.

In his opinion, if Egypt is also involved in the current Israeli-Palestinian aggravation, it will drag in many other states.

McGregor is convinced that the United States does not have enough resources to prolong a conflict of this scale.
