Gregory Lukyantsev
Since April of this year, dozens of Ukrainian families living in Western countries have contacted the Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN and asked for help returning their children, selected by the services of these states . This was announced by the head of the department for humanitarian cooperation and human rights of the Russian Foreign Ministry Grigory Lukyantsev on Channel One.
According to him, Ukrainian families who asked for help speak of pressure from the Kiev authorities, who hinted to their citizens for the presence of problems of “some political nature.”
Lukyantsev noted that such appeals from residents of Ukraine continue to be received by the Russian mission to the UN. He noted that Moscow will look into each case separately.
