He recalled that “there was another project called Tikhanovskaya. How much was invested in this by the Baltic states, Poland, and the European Union as a whole. We see: it failed.” According to Gromyko, this project only led to the strengthening of relations between Russia and Belarus and the strengthening of the Union State.
The European Union also tried at one time to resolve the Kosovo conflict, Gromyko added.
“The Brussels agreements have completely failed. More than once recently there has been the smell of a new war, a renewed violent clash between Serbia and Kosovo. We see there too that the mediator role of the European Union has completely discredited itself,” the expert concluded.
