MOSCOW, Nov 2. A second woman has filed a lawsuit against Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, alleging sexual assault on his part in 1975, when she was underage, Rolling Stone reported.
Last December, the publication reported that the Aerosmith lead singer was being sued by his ex-girlfriend, Julia Holcomb. She accused him of sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional harm in the 1970s, when she was still a teenager.
«»The second woman said that Steven Tyler sexually abused her when she was a teenager,» the publication writes, citing a lawsuit .
According to the publication, the new lawsuit was filed by Zhanna Bellino, who met Tyler at the age of 17 in 1975. The woman says Tyler assaulted her on the day they met, and she is seeking damages, the amount of which will have to be determined by the court. Bellino says she still experiences «mental and physical pain» as a result of Tyler's abuse, was forced to seek psychological help and is still taking medication to cope with the trauma.
Aerosmith was formed by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. The group has 15 studio albums to its credit. Aerosmith has long surpassed other American bands in terms of the number of gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums, and they also received four Grammy Awards. In 2001, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
