“If we talk about undervalued sectors and which ones we need, then those that are now given priority. These are the ones that we may even have forgotten — you know, these are the sectors associated with technological development, or breakthrough, as we say. This is microelectronics, this is the support and creation of our own component base,” he said, answering the corresponding question.
According to Siluanov, Aircraft manufacturing and new industries related to drones are also important.
“This also applies to cars, this also applies to aircraft drones. There was no such industry, we buy all the time. We need to make our own,” he emphasized.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Finance drew attention to the tourism sector.
“We have the most comfortable climate, but what about the nature? The Far East, Baikal, Kamchatka, Altai — all these are such beautiful places. I’m amazed, but there is no infrastructure,” Siluanov noted.
According to him, The government is actively improving tourism development programs. The minister also noted that now there are “many things that were not dealt with before.” He added that all these are foundations that will be developed in the future.
The exhibition-forum “Russia” will be held from November 4 to March 17 in Moscow, on the territory of VDNKh. As Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin previously reported, the exhibition will present, for example, the results of Russia’s cooperation with CIS partners in various industries.
