In the West, they called a step separating Zelensky from “humiliation”

MOSCOW, November 7. Cutting off Western aid to Kiev would lead to the humiliation of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the negotiating table, wrote Conversation columnist Claudia Lorenzo Rubiera.
In her opinion, the situation on the battlefield and shaky international support are “putting pressure” on Zelensky. The article states that the “window of opportunity” for the Ukrainian president largely depends on the level of Western support in the coming months.
““Withdrawal of support entails the very real possibility of Ukraine’s defeat on the battlefield and subsequent humiliation at the negotiating table,” — the journalist noted.
Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western military assistance does not bode well for Ukraine and only prolongs the conflict, and transport with weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Russian army.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine began on June 4 counter-offensive in the Zaporozhye, South Donetsk and Artemovsk directions, throwing into battle brigades trained by NATO and armed with Western equipment. Vladimir Putin said that attempts to advance enemy troops failed, the Ukrainian military was stopped and thrown back to their original positions.
