MOSCOW, Nov 8. An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 occurred in The Pacific Ocean near the coast of Indonesia, reports the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The earthquake was recorded at 04.52 UTC time (07.52 Moscow time) 341 kilometers southeast of the Indonesian city of Ambon. The source was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The US Tsunami Warning System reported that there was no threat of a tsunami due to the earthquake in the Pacific Ocean.
