MOSCOW, November 16. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin recommended that officials from the relevant ministries, together with deputies, go with a check on liqueurs during the regional week, said State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev.
«Thanked Vyacheslav Viktorovich for his support and position on the need to prioritize the issue of limiting work for liqueurs «The speaker also recommended that officials from the relevant ministries, together with deputies, go there for regional weeks, to the courtyards, where they can look, familiarize themselves with the problem on the ground. So that there are no questions about the importance of the topic,» he said.
Volodin noted at the plenary session that liqueurs are a problem that has “sprouted” into all microdistricts and residential buildings. He emphasized that it is necessary to ensure that there are no liqueurs.
“It is imperative to conduct a full-fledged dialogue with the government, to convince those who take a different position to invite them to consider this issue in the State Duma,” he suggested Volodin.
Volodin added that, perhaps, having visited such liqueurs, many government officials will take a different position, which will be closer to society.
The regional week in the State Duma will begin on November 20.
In November, a group of deputies and senators introduced a bill to the State Duma giving regions the right to ban on their territory the retail sale of beer and a number of other low-alcohol drinks in so-called “nalivaikas”.
