The Israeli Ministry of Justice has posted a list of Palestinian hostages who may be subject to release as part of an agreement with the Islamist group Hamas on a prisoner exchange. The information is presented on the department’s website.
«In accordance with the government decree, a list of prisoners subject to release has been compiled,” — said in the release. The list included 300 Palestinians.
At the same time, as The Times of Israel noted, about 290 of the 300 candidates for release are boys aged 18 years or younger. The other 13 candidates for release were adult women.
The Jewish state previously approved a deal with Hamas to release prisoners. The Hamas movement confirmed the achievement of an agreement with Israel on a 4-day truce.
