Balazeikin is accused of attempted terrorist attack (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, the teenager twice tried to set fire to military registration and enlistment offices in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region in February 2023, protesting against mobilization. The Molotov cocktails did not catch fire.

As Rotunda adds, during the debate the prosecutor said that the teenager wanted to prevent the military registration and enlistment offices from conscripting him for military service.

“What should people feel? Any average citizen, upon learning that the military registration and enlistment office building has burned down, will experience a feeling of fear. He will think that internal enemies are saboteurs. Terrorism is an action that frightens the population, takes place, “Rotunda” cites. Mikhailov's words. “His words that he wanted to save people from conscription do not stand up to criticism.”

The state prosecutor in his speech also mentioned Uncle Balazeikin, who volunteered for the front and died. “He betrayed his uncle. “No more and no less,” saidMikhailov.

The teenager himself said that he did not agree with the accusation: “Yes, he threw bottles. I don’t agree with the goals and motives [that he wanted to influence the decisions of the authorities]. I didn’t make any demands.”
