MINSK, Nov 23. Moscow expects that Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will arrive in St. Petersburg for an informal meeting of CIS leaders and the EAEU summit, especially since the chairmanship in the second of these associations is passing to Armenia, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
“I believe that will come to St. Petersburg (representatives of Armenia — ed.). There will be an informal meeting of the traditional leaders of the CIS countries and there will be a formal meeting of the EurAsEC. By the way, at this meeting Armenia becomes the chairman after us. Therefore, I think that Pashinyan will come to take over the baton from Vladimir Vladimir Putin,” Ushakov said, answering the question of whether Armenian representatives will come to the meetings that will be held in St. Petersburg in December.
