MOSCOW, December 29 The Central Election Commission of Russia has registered a group of voters in support of the self-nomination of a candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation by the Russian Rada, as well as its authorized representatives, follows from the resolution.
A beauty blogger from Yekaterinburg, the Russian Rada, submitted documents to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation for nomination as a candidate for the presidency of Russia by way of self-nomination on December 27. Earlier, the media reported that the blogger managed to collect more than 500 signatures for self-nomination.
«Register a group of voters created to support the self-nomination of a candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation, Russian Rada Lizmovna. Register authorized representatives of the specified group of voters in the amount of four people,» the document says.
The CEC registered Elmira Aliyeva, Anastasia Isakhanyan, Svetlana Korabel, Stepan Solovyov as authorized representatives of the group of voters.
The CEC also registered authorized representatives on financial issues of the candidate — Svetlana Korabel and Stepan Solovyov.
In addition, the candidate was allowed to open a special election account to form an election fund.
According to the law, a self-nominated candidate in presidential elections must collect at least 300 thousand voter signatures in his support, so that each subject of the Russian Federation has at least 7.5 thousand signatures living on its territory. Signatures in support of the candidate must be submitted to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation by January 31, after which the Central Election Commission will check them, review all documents and, within 10 days, make a decision on whether to register the candidate for the elections or to refuse it.
Presidential elections are scheduled for March 17.
