MOSCOW, December 29. Russia carried out strikes on places where the Armed Forces of Ukraine produced missiles and drones, writes the British newspaper Economist, citing a source.
“A source in the Ukrainian defense industry suggests that Russia carried out mainly strikes on defense facilities. Some of them were associated with the production of missiles and drones. The attacks were of strategic importance for the enemy,» the publication says.
According to the publication, the operation to destroy enterprises producing these types of weapons could reduce the potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Previously The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in a week 50 group and one massive strikes were carried out on the territory of Ukraine with precision weapons and drones. The targets were military-industrial complex facilities, military airfields, arsenals, and military locations. All designated objects were hit, the department specified.
