Four people died in Donetsk from shooting on New Year's Eve. This was announced by the head of the self-proclaimed DPR Denis Pushilin.
Another 13 people, according to his information, were wounded.
According to Pushilin, the Ukrainian military fired at the city center, as well as the Kalinin and Budenovsky districts from multiple launch rocket systems.
At night, an air raid alert was announced in most regions of Ukraine. According to the country's air force, Russian troops fired 90 drones, 87 of which were shot down.
The head of the Odessa region, Oleg Kiper, said that debris from one of the drones fell on residential buildings, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old teenager. Three more people, he said, were hospitalized.
