The mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced on the morning of Tuesday, January 2, in his Telegram channel that explosions occurred in the Ukrainian capital. In particular, according to Klitschko, explosions occurred in the Goloseevsky district, in Obolon. Emergency services were called to the Pechersk district.
He also noted that an infrastructure facility was damaged in the Podolsk region. In some areas, there was a loss of pressure in the water supply network, and a fire was also recorded in several places.
The power went out in several areas of Kyiv at once.
