A pensioner from Moscow accused the postman of bringing him his pension with banknotes from the «joke bank»
A Moscow pensioner accused a postman he knew of bringing him his pension in “joke bank” bills, writes SHOT. According to the channel, two million counterfeit rubles were found in the safe of the 84-year-old grandfather.
The pensioner, as noted, for many years trusted the same postal employee, who brought him money every month. The elderly man put his allotted pension in a safe.
At the end of December, he reportedly gave five thousand rubles to a social worker so that she would pay utilities for him. The girl said that instead of a real bill, he gave her a counterfeit one.
The pensioner then decided to check the rest of his savings and, to his horror, discovered that in his safe were “two million rubles from the “joke bank”.”
The police are investigating the situation, starting with the search for the main suspect — the postman.
