The new electric car will be available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and with two battery options. A full-scale market launch is expected next year.
The Turkish company Togg (Türkiye'nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu, that is, the Turkish Automotive Initiative Group) was founded in 2018 to produce “green cars”. The first-born was the T10X electric cross; it was sent into series at the end of 2022. The country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who, by the way, is considered the initiator of the creation of the national brand, was present at the production launch ceremony. And now the second model is almost ready — Togg T10F. The premiere of the pre-production electric car was held in Las Vegas at the just opened Consumer Electronics Exhibition (CES-2024), while the company has not yet announced plans to sell the new product in the States. But it was announced that they plan to introduce the model to the European market. However, first things first.

The manufacturer itself calls its new product a fastback, some foreign media classify it as a sedan, although, apparently, this is a rather large liftback. The Togg T10F “grew” from a five-year-old concept (it was called a sedan), the design of which seemed to be the responsibility of the Pininfarina studio. The exterior features of the pre-production “ten” are LED boomerang running lights, a black glossy plug with “slots” in place of the radiator grille and rear lights designed in the form of a single die. Another feature is cameras instead of traditional mirrors, but it is not yet known whether they will be left for the product model (the SUV has regular exterior mirrors).
Inside, the Togg T10F generally replicates its sister crossover Togg T10X, in the cabin there is a display that spans the width of the entire front panel (it consists of three displays), another screen is installed under the central air deflectors. The list of equipment also includes an over-the-air update function, adaptive cruise control, auto braking, lane keeping and traffic sign recognition systems. In addition, the T10F promises a system thanks to which the driver will be able to take his hands off the steering wheel when driving in heavy traffic (valid at speeds up to 15 km/h). In general, Togg expects 5 stars in Euro NCAP tests.

Several versions have been announced for the T10F, the technology is the same as that of the Togg T10X crossover. The basic liftback has one 218-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle (torque — 350 Nm) and a battery with a capacity of 52.4 kWh, this “ten” will travel approximately 350 km (but the cycle by which this figure is calculated is not specified) . For the rear-wheel drive Togg T10F, it will also be possible to choose an 88.5 kWh battery, in this case the power reserve is already 600 km. The top version will have two electric motors (that is, all-wheel drive) and the same battery with a capacity of 88.5 kWh, with a total power of 436 hp. and 700 Nm, range – 530 km. It is reported that the all-wheel drive liftback is capable of reaching the first “hundred” in 4.6 seconds. Note that the SUV is currently only available with rear-wheel drive; the all-wheel drive version should be brought to market in the near future.

It is expected that the Togg T10F will go into production at the end of 2024, the first to receive it, of course, are residents of Turkey. And in 2025, the model should reach main Europe — Germany has been announced as the debut “old world” market, where one of the main competitors of the Togg T10F will be the Volkswagen ID.7 electric liftback.
