MOSCOW, January 17 Candidate for President of the Russian Federation from the New People party, Vladislav Davankov introduced his first confidants — gallery owner Yuri Omelchenko, actor and entrepreneur Alexei Gavrilov, as well as European basketball champion Katerina Keira.

They included the author and host of the popular media project about art «ARTpatrol», gallerist Yuri Omelchenko; actor and entrepreneur Alexey Gavrilov; European basketball champion, founder of a charitable foundation for women “A woman has the right to say ‘Caterina Keyru,’” the press service of the “New People” faction in the State Duma told reporters.
The headquarters to support presidential candidate Davankov was opened in Moscow on Wednesday.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Currently, 11 people are vying for the post of head of state. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has registered three presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov and Vladislav Davankov. Since all three are representatives of parliamentary parties, collecting signatures in their support is not required to register as candidates for elections.
Nominees from non-parliamentary political parties — Sergey Malinkovich, Boris Nadezhdin, Andrey, Sergey Baburin, Irina Sviridova, Andrey Bogdanov must submit at least 100 thousand by January 31.
Self-nominees — Vladimir Putin, the Russian Rada, Anatoly Batashev — need to collect at least 300 thousand signatures.
The Central Election Commission must make a decision on the registration of all candidates no later than February 10.
