Foods disappeared from Kazan supermarkets amid the snow apocalypse
Residents of Kazan are complaining about the disappearance of food from the shelves of local supermarkets due to the recent snowfall. This was reported by the Mash Iptash Telegram channel.
The channel’s journalists visited a number of central grocery stores and discovered a severe shortage of goods. In particular, there is very little bread, fruit, dairy products, eggs and meat.
As deputy head of the executive committee Ildar Shakirov said, store shelves will be replenished today. First of all, goods will be delivered to those supermarkets that have the least provisions left.
In Kazan, 49 mm of precipitation has fallen since January 17, which is 106% of the monthly norm. In some areas of the city, the height of the snowdrifts reaches a meter. In five days, 157 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets.
