The Investigative Committee demanded that blogger and creator of “wish marathons” Elena Blinovskaya be sent to pre-trial detention due to “repeated violations” of the conditions of house arrest. This was reported in the department’s telegram channel.
Blinovskaya has been under house arrest since the end of April. She is accused of evading the payment of 918 million rubles in taxes and money laundering (part 2 of article 198, paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code).
Blinovskaya calls herself a “motivational speaker.” She founded her business in 2015 and began selling seats to “marathons”, where she taught how to make “wish cards”. The blogger had her own show on the TV-3 channel, and she also acted as one of the producers of the film “Marathon of Desires,” for which the state “Cinema Fund” irrevocably allocated 25 million rubles.
