WASHINGTON, January 22 US authorities expect the introduction of sixth generation wireless communications (6G) around 2030, said the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Information and Communications Policy Steve Lang.
““The next generation that we are waiting for, 6G, I think its implementation will begin around 2030,” he said, speaking in Washington.
The United States, according to the official, is now identifying frequencies for 6G networks.
The American market as a whole has embraced the fifth generation of wireless communications, 5G, which is continuing to be adopted in other countries, Lang said.
