WASHINGTON, Jan 23 The films «Barbie,» «Oppenheimer,» «The Unfortunate» and «Anatomy of a Fall» are nominated for Oscars in the «Best Picture of the Year» category, organizers announced Tuesday, the 96th awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on March 10.
A total of ten films are traditionally presented in the main film award category, including “American Fiction” by Cord Jefferson, “The Leftovers” by Alexander Payne, “Killers of the Flower Moon” by Martin Scorsese, “Maestro” by Bradley Cooper, «Past Lives» by Celine Sohn and «Zone of Interest» by Jonathan Glazer, also nominated for the title of «Best Foreign Film».
As the organizers reported earlier, for the Oscar in the category «Best Film of the Year» this year could fight 265 paintings.
