MOSCOW, February 9 Interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin to journalist Tucker Carlson points out to Western politicians the danger of supporting Nazi ideas; it is necessary to remember what this led to in the course of world history, said Olga Zanko (United Russia), deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society.
“Russia today is a powerful shield against the spread of the ideology of neo-Nazism in the world. And let this interview open the eyes of Western politicians to the danger of encouraging Nazi ideas. We must not forget the lessons of history,” Zanko said.
She noted that one of the goals of the special operation was and will be denazification. This is what they fought against during the Great Patriotic War, Zanko added.
«The very ideology of Nazism is unnatural for humans. We remember what such ideas led to in the 30-40s of the last century. All the fates of those affected by Nazi ideas have not yet been established,» — concluded the parliamentarian.
Carlson published an interview with Putin on his website on Friday night, Moscow time, and then posted it on the X social network and on YouTube. In about nine hours, the number of video views on X exceeded 70 million, and on YouTube — 3.1 million. The interview was also published on the Kremlin website.
