MOSCOW, 11 Feb. US President Joe Biden is indeed showing signs of progressive age-related dementia with no hope of improvement, said Johns Hopkins University professor and surgeon Marty Macari in an interview with Fox News.
“Decreased cognitive abilities (Biden. — Ed.) is happening right before our eyes. There is a very noticeable difference between the way it works today, compared to, say, five years ago. And this is really sad,» the doctor noted.
The professor emphasized that for any person It’s normal to sometimes confuse words and make mistakes in speech. However, in the case of Joe Biden, memory lapses and slow speech progress so quickly that they cause significant concern.
According to the expert, voters' fears about the health of the second-term president are not unfounded.
““With such dynamics, it is extremely unlikely that a sudden stabilization will occur. This is obvious age-related dementia,” warned Macari.
On Thursday, the United States published a report by special prosecutor Robert Heur on Biden’s improper storage of classified documents. It says that the head of state could not remember the dates and was confused about the details, which is why he kept the papers “by innocent mistake.” The US President was described as «a sympathetic older man with good intentions and a weak memory.» The special prosecutor decided that there was no need to open a criminal case against Biden for improper storage of documents.
The American president later recorded an urgent address to the nation, during which he stated that he was “all right” with his memory. According to the Wall Street Journal, the special counsel's comments about Biden's cognitive abilities caused outrage at the politician and «anger» in the Democratic Party. The White House fears the report will “increase doubts” among voters during the election campaign.
