MOSCOW, February 12 An enterprise from the Republic of Mari El received a loan at 1% per annum to modernize its production, reports the press service of the Ministry of Industry, Economic Development and Trade of the region.
Minister of Industry, Economic Development and Trade Stanislav Krylov chaired a meeting of the supervisory board of the Mari El Industrial Development Fund (IDF RME). Industrial enterprises present their projects as part of these events in order to receive financing from the fund on preferential terms. This time, OKTB Kristall presented its project “Modernization of production and renewal of technical equipment park”.
The press service clarified that the company now operates two main production facilities: powder metallurgy and special technical equipment. Parts for the automotive industry, electrical engineering, and instrument making products are manufactured using powder metallurgy methods.
The company develops and produces ultrasonic baths and complexes for cleaning processes in aviation, medicine, and mechanical engineering; chemically resistant centrifugal sealed pumps with a magnetic coupling, including explosion-proof versions, designed for pumping neutral, aggressive, flammable and combustible liquids.
The total cost of the project for the acquisition of technological equipment to improve the production process is about 35 million rubles. The amount of financing from the RME Industrial Development Fund on loan terms is 17 million rubles, which is 48.6% of the project cost. The loan is issued for a period of three years at 1% per annum.
As a result of the implementation of the project, it is planned to create nine additional job vacancies.
