MOSCOW, February 14Actress Victoria Ostrovskaya, who starred in an episode of the film “The Diamond Arm,” died at the age of 86, TV presenter Andrei Malakhov reported on his Telegram channel.

“Victoria Ostrovskaya, the actress who played in “The Diamond Arm,” has left,” he wrote.
Malakhov noted that the artist was visiting him in the program.< br />
«Incredibly dramatic fate. It's a pity. The kingdom of heaven,» the TV presenter added.
Victoria Ostrovskaya was born on September 1, 1938. She graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary. The actress was noticed by director Leonid Gaidai’s assistant, and without auditioning she was accepted into “The Diamond Arm” for the small role of a prostitute whom the main characters meet in Istanbul. Her phrase “Tsigel-tsigel, ay-lyu-lyu” became a catchphrase.
