One of them, born in 2007, is 16 years old. The age of the second man was not given in the investigators' press release, but according to SHOT, he is 15 years old.
According to investigators, the schoolchildren committed the arson on the instructions of an anonymous telegram user, who on that day, February 8, wrote to them and offered money. The Investigative Committee described the interlocutor of the schoolchildren as “a person who actively supports the armed forces of Ukraine.”
Investigators plan to petition for the arrest of a 16-year-old schoolboy, and “in relation to the second, the investigator applied a different procedural procedure for bringing to justice.” In cases of sabotage, criminal liability begins at the age of 16.
