CHELYABINSK, February 16 Russian authorities will replicate program for the development of small and medium-sized cities, said Russian President Vladimir Putin during a conversation with workers and students at the Konar enterprise in Chelyabinsk.
During the event, Putin was asked whether the state could provide additional support for the development of small industrial cities.
““We have a program for the development of small and medium-sized cities, I already mentioned this in passing. We will replicate this program — this is one hundred percent,” Putin said.
He emphasized that such a program, for example, should include Miass in the Chelyabinsk region with a population of about 160 thousand people. Putin also said that efforts need to be made for the further development of Nizhny Tagil.
