MOSCOW, February 20 Former Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex told how ex-red-and-white striker Welliton got into a conflict in one of the nightclubs in Moscow.
Alex played for Spartak from 2009 to 2011, Welliton from 2007 to 2014.
“»Once upon a time I went to a nightclub with Welliton, Carioca, Ibson. There was one Spartak fan there, and Welliton said that he was from the mafia or something like that. Welliton and several other Brazilians got into a conflict, a fight broke out. One guy came with a baseball bat and hit one of the Brazilians, not from Spartak, on the knee. And Welliton was defended by a Spartak fan who was hitting other Brazilians. It sounded something like: “Don’t touch Welly!” Then, of course, everyone laughed. The player who was hit on the knee later said that it happened on vacation. But in fact it happened in Moscow, at one of the parties. And only Welliton was defended, since he was a Spartak player. He was lucky that our fan was nearby,” Alex said on Nobel Arustamyan’s YouTube channel.
