Two children fell through the ice in Smolensk
In Smolensk, two children fell through the ice of the Dnieper River. One of them went missing, the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation for the Smolensk Region reported.
The incident occurred on February 23. Schoolchildren went down to the river in the area of Malo-Krasnoflotskaya Street. The ice gave way and the boys fell into the water. One of them was able to get out and called for help.
The boy who got out was taken to the hospital with hypothermia. The search for the second one is underway, and a criminal case has been initiated.
