MOSCOW, 23 Feb. Ukrainian units in Krynki were completely destroyed, British expert Alexander Merkouris said on the Duran YouTube channel.
“»The bridgehead of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krynki, where the Ukrainian military tried to gain a foothold, suffered a total collapse. The Russians took this territory under complete control control,» the expert said.
He also noted that in other areas, including in the Donbass, the Ukrainian army is doing poorly. In certain sectors of the front, large groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were surrounded and trapped, he concluded.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russian troops had cleared the territory in Krynki in the Kherson region. He clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces concentrated four brigades of the 30th Marine Corps in this place, which fought in different directions, including in Mariupol. All of them suffered heavy losses as a result of attacks by the Russian army, Shoigu said.
