The body of a missing girl was found in the Pskov region
In the Pskov region, as part of a criminal investigation, the body of a missing girl was found, the RF Investigative Committee informed in its telegram channel.
11-year-old girl from village of Polonoe, Porkhov district, disappeared at the beginning of January 2024.
Today, a joint patrol of law enforcement officers and volunteers in the vicinity of the settlement where the missing person lived found her body, the Investigative Committee reported.
On An investigative team is working at the scene of the incident. A forensic examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the child's death. As noted, all possible versions of the girl’s death are being checked.
Previously it was reported that the central office of the department has put under control the criminal case of the unknown disappearance of a child in the Pskov region on January 1.
